Talkington Early Learning Center is licensed for 160 children and cares for children ages birth through school age. The center is located close to the hospital district and to Texas Tech University, in the Arnett Benson Area.
This center has two preschool and one-year old rooms, three two-year old and nursery rooms. Formerly known as Erskine ELC, this center was re-named in December 2010 in appreciation of J.T. and Margaret Talkington’s generosity to the children of ELC. Talkington has been in the present location since 1984.
