The Ruby Phenix Center is conveniently located on the Idalou Highway, just seconds away from I-27 and loop 289 (labeled P).
Ms. Ruby Phenix dedicated more than 51 years to caring for children at ELC. During her tenure at ELC, Ms. Phenix worked with infants and one-year olds, and helped in the kitchen and office as needed. Ms. Phenix has touched so many lives of young children and their parents while working at ELC and it just feels right to honor her legacy and have her touch so many more by naming the center after her.
