Qualifications:   Must be at least 18 years old, prefer Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or Development, must have at least 64 hours college including early childhood education or development, 2 years experience in a licensed childcare facility.

Must be organized and a problem solver.

Must have good oral and written communication skills.

Job duties:   Work 50% of day in classroom and 50% of day in the office.

As lead teacher–responsible for creating and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans, supervising young children, meeting the needs of young children, maintaining safe healthy environment, supervise teacher assistants.

As Assistant Director–responsible for center operations in Director’s absence, paperwork, filing, taking payments, maintaining ratios, customer service.

Compensation:  $9.26-10.70 based on education, paid vacation, holiday, sick and personal leave, health, dental and life insurance, retirement, employee discount, no nights or weekends.
